Christ, Cars & Coffee

Faith in the driver's seat

Why Christ, Cars & Coffee?

Some of the best conversations about faith happen leaning on a fender with a cup of coffee in hand. This is a place for people who love classic cars, hot rods, and muscle cars to grow in their faith together — through a daily word, real meetups, and a community that gets both the gospel and gear ratios.

🔒 A note on trust

This isn't a church, where you'd already know who's on the other end — so we say it plainly: we don't sell your data, and this community is shepherded together, not policed from above. People here are sometimes flawed, sometimes broken. That's exactly who this is for.

Our Foundation

"They continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer."

Acts 2:42 · WEB

Christ Cars and Coffee is a ministry intended to share the gospel through fellowship, building and strengthening Christian faith, and fostering relationships within the car culture.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — the owner's manual for life, the roadmap for a faithful journey. Everything on this page, from the daily word to the fellowship in the driveway, points back to that core belief.

Frame Off

Romans 12:2 WEB

"Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Reflection

Every restoration starts with a choice. Cosmetic work covers what's visible — fresh paint, buffed chrome, new upholstery — and from the driveway, it looks finished. But the frame underneath never gets touched, and rust doesn't stop just because you can't see it anymore. Frame-off is different. Everything comes apart. The body leaves the chassis. Every inch gets inspected, including the parts nobody will ever compliment at a car show. It's slower, it costs more, and for a while the car looks worse than when you started. Faith works the same way. It's tempting to clean up what other people can see — the language, the church attendance — while the rust underneath, the resentment, the fear, the old wound, never gets touched. Paul doesn't call us to a paint job. He calls us to be transformed, remade from the frame up. That's slower work, and it usually takes a shop — other hands, people who know what they're looking at — not a solo job in the driveway. And a restored frame doesn't stay restored on its own. It's not a moment you finish. It's an owner who keeps bringing the car back.

This Week's Question

"Who influenced your faith journey the most — and did cars ever come up in that relationship?"

Placeholder Name

My grandfather taught me to change my first oil filter and my first Bible verse in the same summer. Never seemed like two different things to him.

Placeholder Name

Cars never came up directly — but the patience my dad had rebuilding an engine is the same patience I saw him have with people. That stuck with me more than any sermon.
